BoreJet

Prototype & Tooling

Tooling, prototype and production for custom spray nozzles on one line.

Custom nozzle work starts with a drawing, a sample or a duty description. The same line then carries the job through tooling, prototype and production, so the part that gets approved is the part that gets made.

What the process looks like

  • Review. The drawing or sample is checked against the target flow, pressure, pattern and material.
  • Tooling. Moulds are made for the geometry: orifice, swirl chamber, thread, with the material specified for the fluid.
  • Prototype. First articles are produced and verified against the spec before the run starts.
  • Production. Volume runs with inspection per order, in 316L, PP, PVDF, PTFE and hardened materials.

For an existing BoreJet range, prototype samples of the standard parts are available first, and the custom version is developed from the verified base.

Send the drawing or the duty conditions: flow, pressure, fluid, target coverage, and the prototype and tooling plan comes back with figures.
